THE PHENOMENON OF HYBRIDS IN TERM FORMATION

The Kazakh language is constantly developing as the language of education and science, public life, culture and history, politics and economics. Over the last ten years of the twentieth century, due to the fact that our country has gained sovereignty, our language has received state status, the adoption of the Constitution, state symbols by our country, as well as in connection with the political, economic and other reforms of the century carried out in the country, the Kazakh language has been enriched with new words and new applications. New phenomena and new relations in society give rise to new concepts. New names are required to designate new concepts. As a result, the Kazakh language was forced to borrow words from foreign languages in order to designate new concepts that did not find an alternative in our language. The number of names has also increased due to the borrowing of foreign words. Therefore, the study of hybrid words, hybrid names, hybrid terms resulting from them becomes one of the urgent problems in the language. In this research paper, we will consider the motives and phenomenon of assigning hybrid names in term formation, which is one of the branches of linguistics.
The article analyzes the principles of the design of terms formed on the basis of borrowed units, in accordance with the norms of the modern Kazakh language, taking into account their original lexical and grammatical features. The purpose of the article is to analyze the linguistic features, the word-formation composition of hybrid terms in the term-formation process of the modern Kazakh language. To achieve our goal, the industry terms of mining and metallurgy were taken as the research material. In the course of the study, methods of description, observation, discussion, differentiation were used to analyze the manifestation of terminating particles in hybrids.
During the analysis, we also drew attention to the differentiation of the principles of creating terms and provided recommendations on the principles of creating terms. As a result of this study, we have presented alternatives for some term elements. The results and conclusions of the research work, recommendations in the course of the study can serve as an auxiliary tool of linguistics in the field of terminology. Applicants and researchers in this field can apply this research article as a theoretical material. This study is also intended for specialists in the field of naming theory and language ecology.
