THE LINGUOCULTURAL CHARACTERISTIC OF HUMOROUS DISCOURSE (BASED ON KAZAKH AND ENGLİSH MATERİALS)

Abstract

This article is about linguocultural nature of humorous discourse of the anthropocentric paradigm of linguistic knowledge in accordance linguoculturological and conceptual studies.

Through the interrelation of language and culture in humorous discourse, national worldviews and values are revealed. This study examines how linguistic and cultural elements used in humorous discourse, as well as their cultural specificities, directly influence the cultural background of the listener or reader. Linguistics is always regarded as a science that studies language within a person and the person within language.

A person in the process of mastering a language becomes a researcher of the culture of this language. In the knowledge of the cultural features of this language, we can say that it is the basis for understanding the representative of the ethnos, language and culture are indistinguishable. These justifications are fundamental components of the study of linguoculturology, the object of study which are all manifestations of folk culture that have developed in the language.

The purpose of the research is to identify and illustrate the linguistic, cultural characteristics of humor in Kazakh and English. The main directions and ideas of the article are to give and describe the concept of humorous discourse, to consider the concept of humor, to determine its place in humorous discourse, to give a characteristic. The article used discursive-analytical, comparative research methods.

The scientific significance of the article lies in determining the linguoculturological nature of humorous discourse, since linguoculturology is the largest area of linguistics research. In order to determine the linguocultural nature of humorous discourse, definitions and concepts of researchers regarding the problem of discourse were formulated.

The practical significance of the article is recommended for use as additional sources of information in humorous discourse and linguistic and cultural studies.
