Abstract

One of the recent achievements in humanitarian and social sciences is the comprehensive discussion of the concept of discourse, initially appearing abstract, now meticulously supported by diverse empirical evidence. The primary goal of this article is to demonstrate the significance of media space in shaping a personality suitable for contemporary society, presented through the lens of discourse experts. Discourse is a societal process: a material reality in thinking, understanding, differentiation, and awareness. As much as discourse influences members of society, they, in turn, influence discourse formation. This situation can be seen as an important form of discourse analysis. Discourse is both a tool and a phenomenon that articulates specific knowledge and thoughts in concrete texts of a particular time. Despite language phenomena evolving in various discourses and the close connection of semiotic units in the mental (meaningful) context, reflecting national knowledge and cognition, their interpretation relies on the competence of scientific principles and linguistic analysis. Simultaneously, the factual examination of any discourse in multilingual situations is rational from all perspectives. Hence, in linguistic science, it's advisable not to limit oneself to a single language - relying solely on native language materials but to explore the substantive corpus of other foreign languages. Through analyzing various positions and perspectives, it becomes evident that discourse is not a monolithic creation but an understanding of the world and its manifestations. Alternatively, discourse serves as a model of existing national-cultural constructions in explaining objective reality.

The constantly evolving real space and its models are captured, regulated, and accepted in informational representation thanks to media means, significantly influencing the thought patterns of society members. These and other thoughts presented here aim to be substantiated by analyzing the image of Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht. Therefore, the article describes how media means/spaces impact personality formation, evaluates the discussed discourses correctly or erroneously, and reveals different facets of personality within them.
