Intercultural communication is the process of exchanging information and achieving mutual understanding between representatives of different cultures. During this process, gender roles and norms in each culture play a special role, since gender roles are formed differently in each culture. Gender culture is a set of social structures and norms regarding the behavior and role of male and female in society. In different cultures, perceptions of the social status, role, behavior, and relationships between male and female vary. These concepts determine the characteristics of gender culture in each culture.
The article offers deep review of the relationship between gender and cultural aspects in the process of intercultural communication. The factors that determine gender roles in different cultures and their influence on communication strategies are analyzed. Through the critical consideration of cultural stereotypes, emphasis is placed on the formation of ideas about gender. The study also highlights possible ways to overcome barriers to achieving intercultural understanding and successful communication in different sociocultural contexts.
The results of the study include the main factors that determine the success and effectiveness of intercultural communication. It has theoretical and practical significance for the development of strategies for training, adaptation and intercultural interaction, contributing to the creation of more harmonious and productive intercultural relationships in various areas of life and professional activity. The purpose of the study is to identify the effective methods of adaptation and joint interaction that contribute to improving the quality of intercultural communication.
The research work used such methods as description, analysis, comparison and contrast.The study of the socio-economic, political and cultural status, gender roles and gender attitudes of female and male is a requirement of the time. Accordingly, each representative of the sex must fulfill the requirements recognized as mandatory in society, such as speech ethics, character, physical gestures, etc.
