Abstract

One of the guidelines for activities in the field of education is the “education for success” paradigm, which can lead the state out of the transformation crisis. Consequently, the special relevance of the “education for success” paradigm has priority in the context of training philological and pedagogical personnel, since it is natural that an unsuccessful person cannot educate a successful person. The article carried out work to solve one of the most important problems in the field of education - enhancing the quality of university graduates, which also involves a higher level of competence, compliance of their scientific competence with the requirements of society, and readiness for self-education. All this largely depends on the successful training of future specialists. The solution to this problem using the scientific foundations for the formation of successful student learning; organizing the successful activities of students, taking into account the individual typological characteristics of students at various levels, involves taking into account internal conditions and providing coordination and methodological support of the university’s psychological service in order to create and diagnose conditions for successful student learning. The concept of learning success is analyzed, methods for determining the success of student learning and ways of its formation are proposed. Particular attention was paid to the issue of developing the academic success of students studying in foreign language education programs, including the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and “Foreign Philology” programs. The results obtained during the study make it possible to organize activities that contribute to the formation of student learning success, which makes it possible to further realize the state’s needs for highly qualified personnel with innovative thinking, developed competencies and the ability to self-learn. It is also the basis for creating programs for developing educational success among university students. The program presented in the article solves the most important problem of the practical significance of success at a university and the methodological support of work and proposals for its implementation.
