TURCO-SLAVICA КОРПУСТЫҚ ЛИНГВИСТИКА АСПЕКТІСІНДЕ

Abstract

The aim of this article is to study the scientific and epistolary heritage of Prof. I.G. Dobrodomov in the context of Turco-Slavica and his contribution to the study of Turkic-Slavic language contacts. The main tasks include collecting and analyzing I.G. Dobrodomov's scientific papers and letters, creating a corpus of his articles and identifying key Turkisms and their contexts. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by the continuing interest in the problems of lexical borrowings, especially in the light of historical and cultural interaction between Turkic and Slavic peoples, as well as by the insufficient study of many aspects of Turkisms in Russian. The theoretical significance of the work is to present a description of the development of Professor I.G.Dobrodomov's scientific ideas in the context of Turkic-Slavic interaction on the basis of the scientist's creative biography and analysis of his publications for a better understanding of his role and significance for the development of science. The article is written using the methods of corpus linguistics, which allows for a more detailed and systematic analysis of textual data. The use of Sketch Engine tool made it possible to create a corpus of I.G. Dobrodomov's scientific articles, to reveal the frequency of Turkisms usage, as well as to conduct a concordance analysis, which helps to understand the meanings and functions of Turkisms in the context of his works.
