This research investigates the creative approaches used to create the psychological image of the protagonist in I. Odegov's narrative "Anushka Wants to Eat." The study investigates how creative nuances influence a character's psychological depth and how the protagonist's dynamic progression contrasts with the static nature of other characters. The findings show that Odegov uses a linear narrative format to develop a complex character by stressing emotional states, thoughts, and personal experiences. This approach, combined with vivid descriptive language, allows Odegov to craft a protagonist whose evolving psyche captivates readers, while subtle shifts in tone and pacing further highlight her internal conflicts. Spatial and temporal images enrich the psychological representation by enhancing the protagonist's inner world. Notably, the author does not make clear evaluative judgments, enabling readers to interpret the character's feelings and actions for themselves. This open-endedness fosters a deeper engagement, as readers draw personal conclusions from ambiguous moments, reflecting diverse perspectives on the protagonist’s emotional journey. This study emphasizes the importance of subtle creative methods in psychological portraiture, demonstrating how they influence reader perception. By evaluating these narrative aspects, the study advances our understanding of how psychological depth is created in literary works, providing insights into character development and narrative approaches in modern literature.
