THE CONCEPT OF "MOTHER" IN THE UZBEK AND GERMAN PROVERBS

Abstract

This article is devoted to the linguoculturological and comparative analysis of the concept of "mother" in the concept sphere of the Uzbek and German peoples on the  basis of proverbs and sayings. With the help of general and special research methods, the most characteristic features of one of the most important concepts of "mother" in Uzbek and German proverbs are revealed. Recognizing the leading role of concepts in modern linguoculturology, the author substantiates the thesis that the concept sphere directly depends on the peculiarities of the cultural and linguistic worldview of the people.
