The article is devoted to the problem of translation of illustrated technical texts. Since the understanding of the text and its translation depend on the relationship between the text and the illustrations, this article discusses the importance of attention to the illustrations, the ability to relate them to the content of the text when translating. For this purpose, the following research methods were used: analysis, comparison, classification, Choice Network Analysis, interviewing.
