The article is devoted to the problem of formation of research competencies of the students at the lesson of the Russian language. At the same time, special attention is paid to teaching the creation of secondary texts, also definitions of each type of secondary text are given, and algorithms for writing a plan, abstracts, annotations, theses, reviews and essays are given in this article.
