THE IMPORTANCE OF DIWANI HIKMET IN A PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING TO KAZAKH LITERATURE DEPARTMENT STUDENTS

The teacher is always looking for new methods and materials to make her/his classes interesting and effective. Due to the lack of materials for teaching professionally oriented foreign language to the students of the Kazakh literature department, the teacher of the discipline prepares teaching materials on his/her own. In the conditions of the formation of the new Kazakhstan, the task of every teacher is to deliver valuable information to future professionals in the right way. One of such unique values is the collection "Diwani Hikmet" by Hoja Ahmet Yasawi. Diwani Hikmet is a jewel of Kazakh literature - it allows sharing concepts, forming and coordinating opinions, developing logical and critical thinking.
The aim of the paper is to identify the great role of fiction, including Yasawi’s Diwani Hikmet, in teaching English and to discuss the importance and benefits of using the collection of wisdom as a good source in teaching English using Cinquain method. In order to achieve the objective of the research paper, the current methods used in the educational process are examined and the necessary ones are explored. Through this, the mastery of four skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking is formed.
Methods such as the accumulation of theoretical and practical material, the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, the study of practice and the "Cinquain" are considered in the research.
Comprehensive development of literary studies requires modern requirements for the training of specialists, as literature is the main link not only of inter-lingual, but also of intercultural communication. This determines the scientific significance of the work, the use of such a non-traditional method as "Cinquain» in the educational process and its implementation through Yasawi Hikmets determines the practical value of the work.
As a result of our research, we have identified four benefits of teaching English through "Diwani Hikmet", which are valuable authentic material, cultural value, language enrichment and identity formation. We were able to prove that these four advantages can contribute to the improvement of four skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) in the preparation of learning material. In addition, the results of the study will be needed in the future in the preparation of teaching aids and methodological guidelines for the study of the discipline.
