Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the linguistic personality of Abish Kekilbayev from the point of view of its polydiscursive realization within the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm of linguistics. A number of reasons are put forward for choosing the linguistic personality of the writer, a prominent socio-political figure, our contemporary Abish Kekilbayev as an object of linguistic research. The works created by him occupy a special place in the fiction of Kazakhstan, their success and value are not least achieved through linguistic means, the individual creative originality of which is of undoubted interest in terms of studying the realization of this personality by means of language. The article provides an overview from textbook to the latest Kazakh and foreign studies of linguistic personality, as well as various approaches to the study and classification of types of discourse. The review of scientific domestic and foreign literature demonstrates the great interest of scientists in the phenomenon of "linguistic personality". As one of the main features of the writer's linguistic personality, we define polydiscursivity.  The primary analysis of the entire corpus of texts clearly demonstrates the diversity of the types of discourse used, which, in our opinion, is a consequence of extralinguistic factors – the diverse activity of the writer's personality itself. The above analysis allows us to determine the polydiscursive nature of the linguistic personality and gives reason to consider polydiscursive as a sign of the linguistic personality of Abish Kekilbayev.
