Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of power in the Turkish and Kazakh linguoculture, identifying their common   points and differences. Special vocabulary and   terms related to the  state structure and administration, proverbs, sayings, phraseological units, catchphrases, which reflect people's ideas about power, its responsibility for the fate of society, are considered, which helps to understand the linguistic picture of the world of a given country, the mentality of the speakers of the target language.
