METATEXT FUNCTION OF SPEECH VERBS IN LITERARY TEXT (ON THE EXAMPLE OF KAZAKH, ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES)

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of one of pragmatic functions of speech verbs in Kazakh, English and Russian languages - a metatextual function, significantly important for perception and text interpretation. Interspersed in metatext statement speech verbs allow the reader to accurately perceive the author's intention through speech and communication, opening the value of text.

The main purpose is to analyze comparatively the function of verbs of speech in the Kazakh, Russian, English literary text. They open additional opportunities for improving intercultural interaction through mastering of metatextual potential of speech verbs of the studied language. Analysis of metatextual function of speech verbs created in one of these languages lead the recipient to a deeper immersion in the text and, accordingly, to a more adequate interpretation of it.

The scientific novelty of the research lies in the comparative analysis of metatextual function of named verbs as elements of three different language systems and as an important component of text, that is, in particular context highlighting their common and different features, which is valuable, as it expands the ability of the text interpreter to identify them, pragmatic and linguo cognitive potential, compositional-organizing and other functions. From the point of view of the reader's perception of literary text, these verbs, often in combination with certain markers, focus attention on deciphering the compositional connections transmitted by the author, thereby contributing to an adequate interpretation of the text.

Comparative, pragmatic, semantic, contextual analysis, the method of philological interpretation are used in the article.

The practical significance of the study is to analyze the influence of metatext on its structural and semantic organization. The conclusion obtained in the process of studying the metatextual function of speech verbs can be used in teaching university courses of comparative linguistics, text analysis, language theory, translation studies, etc.

Comparative study of metatextual nature of verbs seems promising for describing the linguistic marking of an acting character in literary text, the value picture of the world of the author as a bearer of particular culture.
