Because of our failure to clearly distinguish the artistic essence and rhythmic task of rhyme from the theme of the poem, confusion and misunderstanding of the poem arose in the early field of poetry. Rhythm and rhyming stanzas were regarded as real poetry. On the same basis, the external structural system of poetry was emphasised, especially the features that emphasise the musicality of the poem, such as syllable, foot, rhythm, rhyme, as well as its internal expressive features, such as picturesqueness, imagery and paraphrase. In this way, strong opinions were formed about the development and flourishing of Kazakh poetic art. The process of becoming a poet who embodies the four verses began to gain momentum on the front of literary creation. The works of such poets were evaluated and criticised at the level of the high artistic criterion of the poem. Because the direction of the study of the theory of poetry could not go beyond the analysis of the structural peculiarity of the poem. Even those who called works written in simple words prose poems became more numerous every day. Thoughts arose that could not distinguish between verse and words of edification. The representation views of poetic features in artistic literary creation - became dilapidated, and primitive judgements began to take their place in verse. Not as a poetic art, but as a profession, poetry became a "production" rather than a high-level creative endeavour.
Considering such gaps in verse writing, based on concrete examples and facts, this scholarly work, which emphasises the need for new changes in verse writing, conducts a rhythmic analysis of the features of verse and poems and essays, focuses on its role in verse writing, and reveals the importance of rhythm in the process of expounding thought with hard evidence - facts.
