Abstract

World literature is a multifaceted, constantly renewing and replenishing process. The article deals with the issues of translation, edition, publication and popularization of world literary heritage in an independent country. The main goal is to establish the effectiveness of translation into the native language, which affects the public consciousness and system of thinking, forming in the recipient such virtues as morality and faith. After all, it has been proved in the space of civilization that only literature humanizes the human soul. Recognizing the world literature as a spiritual value, the authors take systematic attention to the history of its translation in our country as the main direction. Translation of works that raise the problem of universal value is a requirement of the era of globalization. The idea that artistic translation strengthens the literary connection is substantiated. It is considered that the literature of a nation comes into contact with the world literature on the basis of communicative relations.In the study the problem of recognition, assimilation and translation of world literature to the Kazakh public is presented chronologically and systematically, which in turn increases the scientific and practical value of the work. And special attention is paid to the effectiveness and necessity of publications, projects, translation organizations that try to do this good deed. Using the methods of explanation, description, analysis, the authors proved that the importance of mastering world literature in the native language lies in the scientific and general social needs of independent New Kazakhstan.Taking into account the fact that Kazakh literature, considered a part of world literature, cannot develop independently, the authors emphasize the necessity of spiritual exchange. As a result, giving important examples, they highlight that when reading, analyzing and assimilating the present classical works, the young generation develops a worldview, attitude to themselves and others, and expands the horizon of knowledge. Among them, paying special attention to the problem of artistic translation, emphasizing its difficulties, the quality and significance of translated works of fiction shows the value of the research.
