The article is devoted to the analysis of narratives and linguacultural features of media diasporas in the modern information space with the aim of the work to also identify linguacultural aspects of media texts through which identity is formed. The main directions and ideas of the article are given within the framework of critical discourse studies and the basic concept of media studies. The scientific novelty and significance of the work are due to the analysis of the specifics of the formation and functioning of media texts of one diaspora undertaken for the first time in the article. In turn, the practical significance of the article and the results obtained in it are important for the analysis of media activities of many ethnic groups in Kazakhstan. The article presents a typology of narratives reflecting the point of view of the state and the diaspora itself. These include historical, cultural-ethnographic and personified narratives. In turn, these narratives create the cultural communicative code of the diaspora. The methodology of the research is based on the interdisciplinary junction, in which the diasporological approach is related to linguacultural studies. Linguistic cultural features, for example, the media of the Turkish diaspora in comparison with others have a weakly expressed ethnic specificity. As it is evident from the specific content of the sources, the symbolic interpretation of events in the media in most cases is imposed from the outside and it is not yet possible to talk about the textual traditions of the diasporological group, but it is a linguacultural indicator. The main results were obtained as a result of the author's media critical analysis. The article is relevant in the methodological aspect for philological, linguacultural and diasporological studies. The results obtained are of practical importance for specialists in the humanities and ethnojournalists.
