Abstract

Going deeper into the nature of the entire variety of names in the language and the simple and stable expressions that arise from them (phraseology, relative phrase, riddle, proverb) related to the color world is, of course, impossible on the scale of a single study. Therefore, we decided to single out only «white» and «black» colors in our object of study, depending on the «color world», devote them to these two and consider their cognitive nature.

The general purpose of the work is to identify the traditions of use and word-formation techniques of the names «white» and «black», which have a wide range of applications, rich in semantic overtones, with a predominance of connotative meaning both in a single form and as part of phrases, thereby defining their lexical fund. and of an ethnolinguistic nature in National historical and cultural terms.

In the course of the research, methods of comparison and analysis of the structural features of the names of species and colors in the texts were used.

The theoretical significance of this study lies in the fact that «white» and «black» reveal alternating, symbolic, metaphorical, changeable meanings of species names and the simple and stable expressions that arise from them, as well as the need for a practical learning process, text analysis, lexicographic experience, etc., as well as the need to write dictionaries.

In particular, today, in the period of the revival of international relations and the development of spiritual, cultural and economic ties, along with a common word, a comprehensive in-depth knowledge of the world of species names is of great practical importance. Since this phenomenon belongs to the oldest and most ancient lexical fund of the Kazakh language. I don't want to immediately translate them all into other languages Russian, English, German, etc. To do this, it is necessary to know perfectly such national factors as traditions, customs, beliefs, and the worldview underlying these names and expressions that determine their motivational essence. The practical significance of scientific work lies in the fact that it allows you to use the results of research in all areas related to literary criticism, theory and practice of translation, as well as with the names of species and colors.
