The article examines the characteristics of a literary text as a linguocultural-methodological object in the conditions ofteaching Russian as non-speaking language in university.
The method of textual linguoculturological field (TLCF) is described, for the first time as a linguoculturological concept and method presented in the work of one of the authors of this article. The purpose of this work is to present the linguodidactic capabilities of TLCF as “a synthesis of the characteristics of linguocultural and textual semantic field structures.” These linguodidactic possibilities are considered by the authors within the framework of the course “Linguocultural Analysis of Literary Text” and on the material of I. Bunin’s story “In the Village”. The article describes in detail and consistently the structural and content-based organization of the textual linguoculturological field using the example of the specified story, and provides the structure of a practical lesson devoted to the work of students with TLCF. The authors describe the thematic composition of textual linguocultural units presented in the described textual linguoculturological field, as well as the core and peripheral composition of the latter. The description of the students’ work on identifying the textual linguocultural field of a specific literary text, presented in this article, makes it possible to determine the sequence of actions, a kind of step-by-step algorithm for identifying TLCF, which adds unconditional value to the conducted research. This result also has a pronounced practical significance, since students correctly and completely determine the TLCF of the corresponding literary work thanks to the use of the specified algorithm, which in general makes it possible to intensify the cognitive and intellectual activity of students, to sufficiently fully and accurately reconstruct for students the picture of the world of the author of the text, to sufficiently fully and accurately understand national and cultural specificity of the linguistic units of the analyzed work of art.
