CREATION OF KAZAKH AND ENGLISH OPHTHALMOLOGICAL TERMS

Abstract

The study of the methods of terminology formation within the framework of the anthropocentricparadigminlinguistics, the definition of the mechanisms of termcreationisrelevanttoday. The importance of the idea of studyingtermsfrom a cognitivepoint of viewcan be seenin the following:firstly, the cognitiveaspectallows you to study the termfrom the point of view of cognitiveterminology,secondly,cognitiveterminologyhelps to understand the complexandcontradictorynature of the term,directsterminologiststostudy the internallaws of the term,thirdly,cognitiveresearchinterminologypromotes the study of the termfrom a newperspective.Thestudytookintoaccount the conclusionsandprovisionsrelatedto the theory of cognitiveterminology.Acomparativeanalysis of the creation of KazakhandEnglishophthalmologicaltermsin different structured languages has been carried out, and ways of formingKazakhandEnglishophthalmologicalterms have been identified. The object of the studyis the KazakhandEnglishophthalmologicalterminologyin the anthropocentricparadigm. The subject of the researchis the methods of creatingophthalmicterms. The aim of the studyis to identifysimilaritiesanddifferencesin the ways of formation of KazakhandEnglishophthalmologyterms.Thefollowingtasks were considered in the course of the study: 1)themainapproachesin the formation of KazakhandEnglishterms have been identified;2) to identify the features of the formation of KazakhandEnglishophthalmologyterms;3) to describegeneralapproachesto the creation of ophthalmologicalterms;4) to determine the place of terminologyin the creation of termsreflectingprofessionalknowledge; 5) to determine the role of terminology formation methodsin the systematizationandunification of the terminologicalsystem,ensuring the accuracyandbrevity of professionalknowledge.Theresearchused the continuoussamplingmethod,descriptive,quantitativeandcomparativemethods,aswell as the method of conceptualanalysis. The scientificnovelty of the study is determined for the first time by acomprehensiveanalysis of the methods of formation of KazakhandEnglishophthalmologicalterms. As aresult of the study, it was foundthatKazakhandEnglishophthalmologyterms are created in morphological,syntacticandsemanticways. The syntacticapproach has beenrecognized as a productiveapproachinbothlanguages.Differencesin the frequency of use of morphologicalandsemanticapproaches have been revealed,which is explained by the factthattypologically the construction of twolanguagesisdifferentlanguages. The practicalvalue of the scientificarticleliesin the factthat the resultsobtained will beusefulin the furtherstudy of KazakhandEnglishmedicaldiscourse,aswell as in theanalysis of otherterminological systems. The resultsobtainedwillcontribute to the unification of Kazakhterminologyand will serve as a basisfor the study of professionaldiscourseinKazakhlinguistics.
