STUDYING THE CONCEPT AND FUNCTION OF «SPEECH» IN KAZAKH LINGUISTICS

Abstract

Kazakh linguistics has its own history of development. New branches of science are emerging in linguistics every year. New directions of modern language science require a comprehensive study. One of the actual studied areas of modern linguistics is speech, speech culture. The study of human speech has contributed to the implementation of various sciences that arise at the junction of the fields of linguistics, psychology, biology, sociology, physics, etc.

The article examines the scientific views, opinions and conclusions of Kazakh scholars regarding the speech and its function, and outlines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the methods and approaches to finding the origin and history of its meaning. The aim of the article is to reveal the meaning and function of speech in Kazakh linguistics, to demonstrate the comprehensive study of speech linguistics. It is proved that the main principle of the research work is a comprehensive analysis of speech in linguistic, psychological, social, and cognitive aspects. The research material is scientific works, articles, and authors’ research reports in Kazakh linguistics. The topicality of the topic is to show the stages of historical development of speech linguistics in Kazakh linguistics by considering scientific views and conclusions regarding the concept and function of "speech", and to determine its scientific and theoretical basis. In the research, we use such methods and approaches as collection, selection, systematization, classification, analysis, and comparison of information.  The importance of the research is to fully reveal and comprehensively consider the function of speech in Kazakh linguistics, to systematize and explain scientific conclusions related to speech, to determine the ways of the formation of a new branch of Kazakh linguistics - speech linguistics, to indicate its scientific and theoretical basis, and to analyze future research directions. As a result of the study, it was found that during the development of Kazakh linguistics, scientific conclusions related to the function of speech have also improved and been deeply studied over the years, and today the scientific and theoretical basis of speech linguistics and speech culture has been determined. The areas of study of language and speech have been analyzed.
