Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical foundations and representational forms of the concept of “authorial collision” in Kazakh and foreign literary criticism. The study explores the connection between literary collision and its historical-political context, examines types of internal and external conflicts in character structure, and analyzes the poetic system of relations between authorial consciousness and the literary text. The article compares theoretical concepts from foreign scholars – including Hegel’s dialectical aesthetics, Bakhtin’s dialogic theory, and Harold Bloom’s theory of “influence” – with the works of Kazakh literary theorists (A. Baitursynuly, M. Auezov, R. Berdibayev, B. Kuralqanova). Based on the typology of literary collisions by Y.A. Ozerov, the genre classification by K.G. Shazzo, and poetic perspectives by V.E. Khalizev, the study reveals the compositional and ideological functions of collision within the literary work. Authorial collision is viewed as an aesthetic mechanism that ensures the structural integrity of the literary work while playing a key role in shaping both character and plot. Scientific significance of the article lies in the systematic exploration of authorial collision as a theoretical literary concept, offering a new perspective in Kazakh literary criticism. Methodology includes comparative-typological, semantic-content analysis, interpretative, and classification approaches.

Research outcomes demonstrate that authorial collision occupies a central role in literary text structure, ensuring its aesthetic coherence. Main value of the article lies in the clarification of conceptual terminology and detailed analysis of authorial consciousness and conflict in Kazakh literature.

Practical relevance includes the application of results in literary theory, poetics, and comparative literature studies, as well as its use as a methodological guide for literary text interpretation.
