GENDER DIFFERENCES IN THE TRANSLATION OF LITERARY TEXTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of transmission of gender differences in translation. The concepts of gender, its socio-cultural aspects and their implementation in the language at the lexical and grammatical levels are considered. The features of gender differences in English, Kazakh, Russian, and Russian languages are revealed, and the ways and methods of transmitting gender differences based on the material of specific translations are analyzed.
