Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the features of the translation of drama as a special type of literary work, which is based solely on the speech of the characters. The features of the speech of the characters of "King Lear" in the original and in translations into Russian and Kazakh languages are considered. The choice of the play is determined by the relevance of the theme of the family, the intergenerational connection in modern society.
