RESEARCH OF PHRASEOLOGY IN KUMYK LINGUISTICS

Abstract

In the process of communication, phraseology performs the most important functions of establishing phenomena, facts, and processes of reality, and evaluating them emotionally and expressively. It has a wide range of historically formed Customs and traditions of the People, national and cultural roots and established cultural features. Words contained in regular expressions go back thousands of years, and the original meaning begins to be forgotten or blurred, approaching oblivion. The word is transmitted from one nation to another in different ways. Through such word transitions, it is possible to learn about cultural ties and relations between peoples of distant eras, although sometimes there are no historical witnesses and monuments left. The article analyzes the study of stable phrases in kumyk linguistics. The purpose of the article is to systematize the work of scientists who considered phraseologisms in parallel with lexical and grammatical phrases. To achieve this goal, the tasks set are: to analyze and systematize phraseological dictionaries of the kumyk language and scientific works related to the field of phraseology, to determine the degree of study of the phraseological field of kumyk linguistics. The emergence and development of phraseological units, their images, which reflect historical and cultural traditions and features of the national mentality, are analyzed. By differentiating the lexical and grammatical identity of phraseologisms, we can determine the historical and cultural traditions of this people and the peculiarities of the national mentality. The scientific significance of the research work is an additional contribution to the field of ethnolinguistics and linguoculturology. Practical significance of the article: the results of the research can be used in the preparation of lectures for special courses "Linguoculturology", "Ethnolinguistics", "phraseology", in the preparation of educational and methodological complexes, in the writing of coursework and theses or in the development of topics. The methodology of the study consists of the works of foreign scientists, specially written for the study of phraseology of the kumyk language.  The results of the research contribute to the development of kumyk linguistics, the study of Turkic languages in communication.
