This article is devoted to the problems of teaching the German language and training specialists in this field in the context of multilingual education. The author analyzes certain directions of the formation of the bi- and polylingual component in the process of teaching students of the German department at the Kokshetau University named after Sh.Ualikhanov as a positive experience in increasing the motivation and quality of foreign language education.
