THE IMAGE OF THE HOLY MOUNTAIN AND THE SACRED TREE IN WORLD LITERATURE

Mystical, sacred problems, unknown to mankind, filled with mystery, have always deeply worried all thinkers and scientists. The refore, sacred places have become the subject of study in various fields of science, have become relevant to the study, knowledge of their mysterious power. The purpose of the presented article is to analyze the artistic and figurative expression of the image of holy tree and mountain in world literature. On its basis, it is supposed to conduct an examination of ideas about the secrets of creation and the secrets of nature, characteristic of sacred places.
When writing a research paper, methods of comparative, structural, and interpretive analysis were used. Basically, in the mythology of the world, the image of the Holy Land plays an important role as an archetypal image that conveys a rich message from the process of historical development, the national knowledge of each people. Interest in sacred places and objects still does not subside in the people's memory. In accordance with this, the tradition of spending the night in holy places, resting on sacred trees, sacred mountains, etc. has been preserved today. The result of the work can be called a comprehensive analysis of the links between man and nature, man and a holy object in texts about sacred objects in the mythology of the world, in particular about sacred mountains and sacred trees, the influence of the image of holy places on humanity. In accordance with this, the author's ideas and creative concepts that gave rise to modern social thoughts in fiction are determined. The value of the research work is expressed in the analysis of mythical motifs in a literary text, the philosophical subtext of symbols-images and the peculiarities of folk thinking. The results obtained can be taken as a basis in the course of figurative analysis of a work of art in literature lessons and interpretive analysis of students as readers.
