It is known that the quarantine, known as "Covid-19", which took place in China in 2019 and then spread around the world, became a pandemic. In any case, the whole world public was forced to find a way out of this difficult situation together, show unity and fulfill various new requirments, that is, adapt to the situation. That is, the change in the habitual life of people was also reflected in their language. The article analyzes the impact of "Covid-19" on the language, the use of words on specific examples. As a language specialist, we aimed at gathering various linguistic units that appeared and were actively used during that transitional period, grouped and differentiated them according to their composition, the purpose of the utterance, and topic. Also, the positive or negative impact of new words on public consciousness, obstacles in their perception and understanding by listeners, the role of the media in fixing these new word usages in the vocabulary, and the speech characteristics of individuals were recognized as one of the important stages in the development of speech. Although these words are not actively used in the post-pandemic period, they certainly have a place in the vocabulary as language units that provide information about the political situation experienced by the population. In any case, it takes place in history as a linguistic information or fact that shows a peculiarity of language use in the 21st century. Therefore, our study is based on medical terms, their equivalents in the Kazakh language, which have made significant changes to the vocabulary through borrowings. We recognize these as language materials that should be evaluated from the social, pragmatic, and psychological point of view of the language use.
