Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the works of Ybyray Altynsarin, reflecting his approach to teaching and educating the people. The object of the study is the textbook «Kazakh Anthology», which has become widespread among the masses. The conceptual analysis allowed to reveal the content and educational significance of the works written on the subject of enlightenment. The frame structures revealing the content of the concepts «enlightenment» and «art» are studied. Analyzing the work of Ybyray Altynsarin, we came to the conclusion that enlightenment and art are the actual themes of the author's work.

        The article defines the linguocognitive level of the text language by conceptual analysis of the works of Ybyray Altynsarin. The linguistic units that reveal the essence of the concepts of enlightenment and art were selected, their linguistic function in the text was determined. The meaning of the linguistic units representing the concepts of «enlightenment» and «art» was explained by the definitions given in the Explanatory Dictionary of the Kazakh language. Their use in the text was also determined and their linguistic function was considered.

        In the theoretical part of the study, we were guided by the scientific works of Kazakhstani scientists studying conceptology. The theoretical part of the study is logically connected with its practical significance.

        The scientific and theoretical conclusions given in the article can be guided by special courses dedicated to the work of Ybyray Altynsarin. We also believe that the results of the work can be used in seminars, when performing independent work in the disciplines of Cognitive Linguistics, New directions of linguistics.

        The study of the creativity of a scientist-teacher contributes to the formation of new views and new ideas in Kazakh science. For the first time, the cognitive aspect of the works of Ybyrai Altynsarin is considered, which determines the relevance of the topic of our research.
