Abstract

The study of the semantics of synonymous units is based on linguistic conclusions and principles, positions and patterns concerning the formation of the semantic cognitive content of the word in the fields of linguocognitology, psycholinguistics, linguophilosophy, lexical paradigm, enrichment of the lexico-semantic layer of the language.

Synonymic units in the language are considered quantitative and qualitative indicator of richness of language vocabulary. For this reason, synonyms are an integral part of the dynamics of diachronic and synchronic development of language. In the article, by considering the above issues, it is supposed to show innovative models for studying semantic nature of synonyms.

The scientific significance of the results and conclusions obtained during the study of semantics of synonymy in the article contributes to the expansion of theories of lexico-semantic analysis of literary texts and linguistic stylistics.

The practical significance of the study of synonymy as a semantic category is manifested in the fact that fragments of analysis can be widely used in lectures and seminars in the fields of literary text linguistics and linguistic stylistics.

The conclusions of the research work shows that in the cognition of the semantic existence of synonymous units in a language, between the degree of semantic proximity of language units and the semantic field, there are thin threads inherent in the invisible nature of language, which improve the content of one of them, and are interconnected with the environment.

In accordance with the purpose and objectives of the study of synonymy as a semantic category, along with the method of linguistic description and methods of stylistic and semantic analysis on the base of theoretical conclusions, methods of scientific analysis generalization were used.
