There is a general pattern in that the first representatives of young national literatures strove to cover as many genres as possible in their work and thereby answer the main questions of the time. For example, the founders of Kazakh literature of the twentieth century acted as poets, prose writers, playwrights, critics, and translators. Mukhtar Auezov also belongs to this group of universal writers, among the founders of Kazakh literature. He was a prose writer, playwright, critic, scientist, teacher, publicist, and public figure. Auezov is not only a Kazakh, but also a world writer. His multifaceted creative activity characterizes the development of many national literatures. The purpose, main directions and ideas of scientific research: this article examines the problem of analyzing a dramatic work of art from the point of view of isomorphism of its content and form. We use the systemic-structural method of studying the text proposed by Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor A.E. Kulumbetova. The scientific and practical significance of this work lies in the fact that through systematic analysis it becomes possible to determine the degree of artistry of the text, as well as shed light on many debatable problems of the substantive and formal aspects of the work. The research methodology is based on a four-stage approach to studying the text: analyzing the title, determining the boundaries of the present tense (the beginning of the action), analyzing the active center (the resolution of the action), studying the work in reverse motion from the active center. As a result of a systematic analysis of the work, the following conclusion of the research work was made: the play by M.O. Auezov “Enlik – Kebek” is a work of average genre form with features of small and large forms. The value of the conducted literary research is that the systematic expression of “order” and “chaos” is substantiated based on the material of the dramatic text, which allows us to talk about the degree of artistry of the work. The practical significance of the results of the work lies in the fact that the method of systemic-structural analysis of a work can be used in teaching such academic disciplines as a propaedeutic course in literature, introduction to literary criticism, literary theory, history of Russian, Kazakh, foreign literature and others.
