THE COGNITIVE ASPECT OF THE CONCEPTS OF "JOY" AND "SADNESS" IN KAZAKH FOLK LYRICS

The article examines the cognitive nature of conceptual structures in the text of Kazakh folk lyrics. Cognitive linguistics studies the formation of cognitive and theoretical foundations for cognition of social phenomena and the world through language. The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the most important concepts for the national worldview of the Kazakh people – the concepts of joy and sadness. The object of the analysis were historical poems, kara olen (poems), poems about love included in the collection "The Word of ancestors". Explanations of the concepts of joy and sadness were given in the explanatory dictionary of the Kazakh language and the meanings were revealed. The purpose of the scientific research is to identify the expression of the concepts of joy and sadness in the language of Kazakh folk lyrics. By revealing the cognitive nature of the joy and sadness linguistic units in folklore texts, we can gain access to linguistic data about the true world related to the vision, cultural cognition and way of life of the people. The main direction of the research during the analysis of the concepts of joy and sadness in the works of Kazakh folk lyrics was to learn the way of life and culture of the people of that era. The research used methods of analysis, description, comparison and conclusion. As a result, the language of Kazakh folk lyrics contributed to a thorough analysis, frames, a picture of the world, scenario and schematic structures were collected and analyzed, revealing the meaning of the concepts of "joy" and "sadness" found in the language of folklore works. They were also summarized and analyzed for the first time in our work, the cognitive nature of the concepts of "joy and sadness" in Kazakh folk lyrics was determined, and a conceptual analysis of linguistic units was carried out.
The conclusions and results of the work contribute to the theory of the disciplines of stylistics and linguistic culture, cognitive linguistics, and new areas of linguistics studied at universities. The scientific value of the study was determined by the fact that it can make a certain contribution to further in-depth analysis of the theory of evaluation of research results. We believe that the practical basis of the article is the contribution to new areas of linguistics, such as cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology, ethnolinguistics. The conceptual analysis of the article can be used at special seminars dedicated to Kazakh folklore.
