The article determines traditions, rituals, games, beliefs and oral literature of the Kazakh worldview that have been preserved and absorbed into the Kazakh worldview, which continue from the time of Attila, who is considered the progenitor of the Turkic people. In addition, ancient Roman literature, the Kazakh literary heritage is connected on the basis of historical-genetic literature and oral literature.
The scientific purpose and direction of the article is that it rejects Soviet stereotypes which says that Kazakh culture appeared only after the October Revolution of 1917, and creates the future by getting rid of slave consciousness. Because without understanding the past there will be no progress. Literary and cultural artifacts were taken as the object of the study, explaining that we are the descendants of a culture that contributed to the development of human consciousness in our literature. Our literary heritage needs a new worldview.
Colonial repressive, authoritarian policies hindered the development of Kazakh identity and true image and led to a spiritual crisis. In result, Kazakh people practically lost their ethno genetic heritage and culture. Therefore, the main idea of this study is to analyze the values that originated in the ancient Saka and Hunnic periods and became our tradition, based on folklore and archaeological monuments, songs, legends and phrases. Literature is one of the main components that preserve the identity of nation. The main attention is paid to the interweaving of the Hunnic and Kazakh literary traditions, as well as the role of Attila as the ancestor of the Turkic people in the Kazakh national consciousness. The Huns, who, by their wisdom and things connected with them, were able to contribute to the wealth and precious channel of human culture, faced many incomparable insults and slanders and strangled before reaching the next generation. The origin of the Kazakh people was on the verge of extinction. Only after we achieved independence, we were able to return to the past.
Practical significance of research is S. Oteniyazov's monograph "Attila and his place in world literature", O. Kalbayuly's poem "Alankay batyr" analyzed on the basis of the literary heritage studied by A. Margulan and artifacts found during the expedition. Also presented are poems and sagas about Attila, which spread in the Kazakh steppes The research used comparative, cultural and historical methods, compilation, review of ancient poems and legends in Kazakh literature.
The practical analysis carried out in the research work is a necessary source for scientific directions related to literature and culture, folklore, history of Kazakh and Turkic countries.
The results of the research work, i.e. a deep dive into the literature and history of the Kazakh nation, a study of the origins of our culture and traditions, which were crushed and absorbed for almost a century, the analysis and disclosure of the substantive features of words, phrases and customs of the Hunnic era and their connection with the modern Kazakh worldview clarified its scientific and practical significance.
