Abstract

The article presents current philological paradigms and concepts that define the foundation of recent humanitarian research. The study aims to outline the trends of leading philological knowledge paradigms in Europe and trace their influence on Kazakhstani scientific works. The main research areas include an analytical review of three frameworks: Aleida Assmann's concept of cultural memory, Ruth Wodak's critical discourse analysis (CDA), and the mediological studies of the Konstanz School, primarily represented by Yuri Murashov. The scientific significance lies in deconstructing these contemporary paradigms and integrating them into the Kazakhstani scientific discourse. Practically, the findings contribute to the methodological foundations of theoretical linguistics and literary courses for master's and doctoral programs. The methodology involves identifying the core conceptual statements and problematic focus areas within European scientific discourse. The main results highlight specific ideas and practices from these philological frameworks, justifying their integration into domestic dissertation research. The conclusions are applicable to fundamental and applied research within the Language and Literature educational program, as well as independent projects in philology, cultural studies, and sociology.
