This article is devoted to the development of film translation in Kazakhstan and the specifics of translation transformation used in the translation of audiovisual texts. An overview of the obligations and difficulties faced by the translator is given. In the article, we consider the views of Kazakh scientists who have contributed to the problem of film translation. A comparative analysis of the translation of an excerpt from the educational animated series " Dora the Explorer" is carried out.
